Great selection of craft beer. Weekly tasting is great, wine on friday beer on Saturday (4-7pm). Small town style service from the majority of the staff.
I'm not sure if the other reviewers went to the same place as I did, but the service here was certainly below par. 10 minutes before closing time I was told, somewhat abruptly, that "we're closing soon, so you'll have to hurry up", just as I was walking out of the cool room, on my way to the counter, with a six-pack of beer. The other guy at the counter was ok, but didn't go out of his way to help or make me feel like I was welcome.By contrast, the staff at the bottle shop at the Clock Hotel, just up the road, are always friendly and keen to chat about craft beer every time I drop in. I'll be going back there instead of this place.
I have been coming here for years! They know there stuff about wines and welcome my dogs all year around. They have great tasting on Fri & Sat night and local cheese from the cafe next door with a 20% of purchases for 6 bottles or more. They have a booking system as well where you earn points for the $$ you spend. Me, I am saving my $$ for Jasper Hills Shiraz! They have also privately cater for our parties as well and supplied glasses
