Quality of food was fantastic. The staff however had terrible communication. A table of 10 people ordered individual plates and it was all shoved onto share plates...it seemed like a cost cutting scheme for them. Didn't really appreciate the way the staff spoke to us when we questioned it. I wont be back to this branch. Ive been to the one in Penrith many times with no issues and with exceptional staff communication.
It was my first time at Al Aseel but it won't be the last.We were there on a Tuesday night so the restaurant was not full by any means. There were a few groups and couples that were not particularly noisy but with lots of open space and hard surfaces it was difficult to hear sometimes. The wait staff were friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. There was six in our group and we all ordered entree and mains. We were quite surprised when all the entrees and mains were delivered together, especially as we had specified entres first. There was barely enough room on the table for it all. The other problem was that our mains were getting cold while we were enjoying our entree.The food? Exceptional is the best way to describe it. I had the lamb skewers that were very tender and full of flavour. Everyone in our group commented on how good the food was.When we received the bill we were also pleasantly surprised as the cost for six people was very reasonable.We will return and I will try the lamb shanks.
First visit, very impressed. Great service and menu. Extensive bar is also great. I had the Barramundi it was delicious, highly recommend!
Amazing food as you would expect I would give this place a 5star rating if the food was delivered quicker as the venue offers a lunch time special $15 which is a wild deal. Though how ever you are waiting 20-30min for the food leaving you barely anytime to sit down and enjoy your meal as your on your lunch break.But if you aren't on a tight time schedule I do highly recommend this place.
A wide variety of food. Our group ordered the banquet and there was plenty of food to feed all nine of us. The food was fresh and had amazing flavours, all the dishes were delicious. Highly recommend the banquet for a mixed food experience!
